How LeagueTables reviews its work

Editorial responsibility

LeagueTables is maintained by the LeagueTables Editorial Team, an independent group of parents of MLS NEXT and ECNL players. The team is responsible for explanatory content, source-status standards, correction handling, and any published league analysis. It is not employed by or affiliated with a league, club, or data vendor.

What is automated and what is reviewed

LeagueTables organizes scores, schedules, and calculated tables from public league sources. The site labels a season and source status separately from the time it built a page. The league or club controls schedules, standings, eligibility, and competition decisions that affect your team.

When LeagueTables publishes a reviewed league note or includes a conference page in the submitted sitemap, the Editorial Team checks the source page and supporting facts. A note identifies its review date and source last-confirmed date, then describes specific table evidence instead of generic commentary.

Freshness and seasonal limits

LeagueTables does not treat an old page rebuild as new source data. Delayed, partial, unavailable, and final-season conference pages carry that status. During the pre-approval review process, current-season selections expire after 14 days unless the supporting data and editorial review are renewed.

We do not publish new weekly analysis from final-season or unconfirmed source data. That keeps the record useful during the offseason without making stale tables look current.

Corrections and changes

To report a possible display or source issue, use the contact form and include the page URL plus the relevant official source when possible. We review corrections to displayed data, source-status labeling, and explanatory content. Changes to official results, rosters, eligibility, or competition rulings must be handled by the appropriate league or club.

Independence

LeagueTables does not accept payment to change standings, rankings, source status, or editorial conclusions. Advertising or sponsorship does not change that policy. The site helps readers find and understand public youth soccer information; it does not replace the official source.
